What are you doing this summer? I am hanging out at home with the family, dogs, cat, and fish. I plan to read as much as I can and catch up on all of the movies I have missed. And I want to see the dinosaur tracks at Geln Rose. And buy some cool Star Trek stuff for my classroom this fall. And I am going to San Antonio in the summer to present at the National AP Conference:D.

Hi this is Elizabeth Janicki. This summer I've been playing A LOT of softball. We've had a tournament almost every weekend. But I'm having fun and enjoying it. I'm also spending time just hanging out with friends- I don't have much time to do that during the school year. Basically, I'm just loving my time off!
I've never had a teacher with a blog before. It's kind of weird but at the same time cool...
Well I'll start reading [i]In Cold Blood[/i] soon but I won't start until I'm done with going places for summer.
Hey there! My name is Preston Quinn! I've been to Destin, I've pet a couple of dolphins, and I play tennis non-stop over the summer. Magic and guitar are my thing! And of course reading In Cold Blood and The Awakening.

Hmm... This has been my busiest summer so far!
I've been catching up on my music- but playing the piano during the summer doesn't seem to balance out the negligible amount I play during the school year! Haha. =D
I've been figure skating, rereading some books that I can never seem to have time for during school, hanging out with my friends, and helping my parents out at their clinic. =D funnn.
Basically, I'm doing all I can catching up what I don't do during the year!!!

Wow. You guys sound really busy. Only 3 more weeks until school starts! I don't know about you guys, but I am ready to go back and get back into the swing of things. Hope you guys are enjoying the readings!

Hi this is Nathan Kirksey. This summer I have been doing a ton of sleeping in, hanging out with friends, and I've spent a lot of time at church. I'm sad school is 2 weeks away, but I'm excited at the same time. Since my dad works at home now, it's not the same since he can make me do petty chores to keep me busy (getting the leaves out of the pool, cleaning the house, and sweeping those annoying little seed things off the side of the pool). I have already read The Awakening (not a fan). Luckily, I like In Cold Blood MUCH more (I'm about 5 chapters in). I can't wait to start class! It's getting to the part of the summer where I'm bored all the time and just want school to start back up. Maybe I'll run into some of you at registration.
Hey this is Ashleigh Johnson and I've been really busy this summer with diving, church and teaching swimming lessons! Summer has been amazing but I can't wait to see everyone again!
